Electro shock weapons (e.g. Tasers)

 

  

Electro shock weapons (e.g. Tasers) incorporating dangerous goods are totally forbidden except under some very strict conditions. Dispensation to carry these items must be granted by the flight operator and the relevant Competent Authority (in Australia, the Competent Authority is CASA). 

Please note the following from table above:

	-	Permitted in or as carry-on-baggage	FORBIDDEN
	-	Permitted in or as checked baggage	FORBIDDEN
	-	The approval of the operator(s) is required	N/A
	-	The pilot-in-command must be informed of the location	N/A
