Oxygen or air, gaseous, cylinders

 

 

 

 

Medicinal Oxygen Cylinders:

Medicinal oxygen cylinders are permitted if required by a passenger for medical reasons. These cylinders must not exceed 5 kg gross weight.

Passengers must contact the operator prior to travel for specific details when required to travel with oxygen.

Airline / Operator Variations and Differences

QF-04 Oxygen or air, gaseous cylinders required for medical use and/or carried by medically trained persons, are only accepted for transport in or as carry-on baggage. Cabin crew must be informed of the oxygen cylinder being carried as carry-on baggage. See Section 2.3.4.1 of the current IATA DGR and the Operator/Airline's Dangerous Goods Manual for further details.
