These items may be permitted as long as the fuel tanks are totally drained and action taken to nullify the danger.

The IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations specify two methods, one of which, must be used:
Method One

Drain for a minimum of 1 hour |

Wrap polyethylene (thin plastic) bag or equivalent over the absorbent material |
